The tiger's stripes are as varied and unique as fingerprints. Even the skin under its fur is striped. At first glance, the striking pattern does not seem to be an advantage. After all, the tiger does not want to be discovered by its prey right away. When the tiger goes hunting at dusk, however, it is perfectly camouflaged with its stripes. Then they look like tall grass moving in the wind, or like fleeting shadows. Unlike many other felines and big cats, the tiger is a good swimmer and enjoys it. Therefore, water is not safe for many prey.
