Beautiful and dangerous crocodile from Schleich.

The crocodile is the largest reptile in the world and the closest living relative of the bird – both descend from the Archosauria.

The saltwater crocodile is the most dangerous of all crocodiles. It also holds the record for being the largest: it can weigh up to a ton, the equivalent of a small car. Most crocodiles live in rivers and lakes, but the saltwater crocodile is the only one that can handle both fresh and salt water.

In addition to the saltwater crocodile, there are many other types of crocodiles, 25 in total. There are, for example, the Nile crocodile, the armored crocodile, the alligator and the caiman.

The crocodile can open and close its impressive jaws.
