The spotted donkey looks really beautiful with its brown spots and light fur, and it differs from most other donkeys, which are gray or brown. Like them, however, the American donkey has the typical long ears. It hears very well, especially when it pricks up its ears and is extra attentive. It notices everything that is going on on the farm.
