Mosasaurus from Schleich
The giant marine lizard was a carnivore and lived in the early Cretaceous period.
The movable jaw of Mosasaurus features many sharp teeth. When it wanted to devour prey such as fish and turtles, this dinosaur opened its jaws wide and bit down hard. Due to the shape of its teeth, it probably could not chew but had to swallow its prey.
Its front and hind legs had over time been transformed into fins as an adaptation to its new surroundings, and it also had a large fin at the front of its tail.
