The Ceratosaurus from Schleich has three conspicuous bumps on its skull.
Its movable jaws are equipped with knife-like teeth. Ceratosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago in the early Jurassic period. The two growths by its eyes and the large horn on its nose are part of the bones. It used them either to fight or to deter its rivals.
It also had many small, spiny bones on its back. The many growths, bumps, and plates are the reason for its name: Ceratosaurus means horned lizard.
