This product is handmade from the amazing natural material raffia. Raffia fibers come from palm leaves and originate from Madagascar. Our raffia baskets and storage houses were, for example, some of our very first products. The products are produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar, where the production contributes to better and more resources for the inhabitants of the cities… the production supports more than 300 families on the Red Island.
As raffia is a natural material and the products are handmade, each product may vary slightly in color and size. For us, this is part of the charm. The colors may fade if the product is exposed to constant sunlight. Avoid contact with liquid as this may cause color transfer.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
