Scottish Highland bull from Schleich.
Highland cattle are the oldest registered cattle breed in the world, with very hardy animals from the northwestern region of Scotland.
The brown Highland bull has a long, dense coat that keeps it warm. The coat is so dense and woolly that it keeps it warm even in the coldest winter. This is why these animals can go outdoors all year round. The bulls can be easily distinguished from the heifers: The males have horns that are almost horizontal and slightly forward. In the females, the horns are somewhat longer and curve upwards.
