Flamingos start out with grey feathers as young birds. The pink color of the flamingo is because flamingos love to eat shrimp. The exotic wild bird can fly, even on a full stomach - if there is room for a very long run. It is also very good at standing on one leg for a long time.

All of the beautiful animals from Schleich are hand-painted and have undergone a wide range of safety and quality tests. The animals are therefore both unique and safe for your child to play with.
