The larger the mane of a lion, the more intimidating it is to intruders in its territory. Lions are the only animals that hunt together in packs. However, this task is usually left to the females of the pride. Unlike the cheetah, the lion is not very fast, and therefore finds strength in hunting in packs. The lions sneak up from different directions, surround their prey and use the element of surprise. In this way, they can kill larger animals such as wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes and weak elephants.
All of the beautiful animals from Schleich are hand-painted and have undergone a wide range of safety and quality tests. The animals are therefore both unique and safe for your child to play with.
