Margrethe – a little queen tells the whole story of the queen's life. From her birth while German soldiers occupied Copenhagen, to the change in the line of succession so that a daughter could rule, and until she herself took the throne and started a family. We visit Greenland, the royal ship Dannebrog and spend a summer holiday at Marselisborg.
The book is illustrated throughout with Louise Rosenkrand's naive, sweet and modern lines and can be read as a bedtime story for a 4-year-old or for a 10-year-old who would like to be told a piece of Danish history.
