In "Kaj læser bog" (Kaj reads a book), Mom has bought a gift for Kaj. It's a book with a lot of animals in it, which they first read together. Afterwards, Kaj will read aloud to the teddy bear Lise, and he reads about all the animals, until he can feel that Lise is getting tired and wants to sleep. And then Kaj and Mom sneak out just as quietly, so that Lise can sleep, can sleep in peace and quiet.
The Kaj books, in the sign-supported version, are intended to support early language development for children who need to use signs for speech or sign language. The books are excellent as read-aloud books and as a starting point for wonder, dialogue and retelling of the stories.
