Alfons Åberg is a little boy who lives alone with his father.
Alfons is visiting his grandmother. Here you can eat almost all the cakes you want. His big cousins, aged seven and nine, are also there. So Alfons is the smallest. "You're so little, you don't understand anything", the big ones always say. He can't join in playing cards because he's too little. Alfons is tired of the talk about him being too little. But today he's going to do something about it.
