Desperation reigns in the shantytown of Ahnstarr City. Houses are being cleared out one by one, and little Timo has become so ill that there will soon be no more hope.
But an old myth tells of the land of Balanka, where some special healing Saffron lilies grow. Perhaps they can save Timo.
Led by the cat Spir, the animals decide to build a giant bus and head to Balanka. It will be a wild road trip through incredible landscapes, over the North Pole, into the stratosphere and on to fantastic lands in an attempt to save little Timo, themselves and the rest of the world.
