Here you will find the story of Marie Curie, one of the greatest scientists in science.

Marie grew up in a country and at a time when women were not allowed to attend university. But she knew she wanted to do research in chemistry and physics, so she traveled to a place where she could study freely and later work as a researcher. She discovered the elements radium and polonium, which could be used to combat serious disease. She received two Nobel Prizes for her important work.

After the story of the wise and brave woman, there is a short section with facts and photos.

Little People, Big Dreams is a book series where you can get to know the most amazing people. They all started as children with a dream and ended up achieving the most incredible things.

The books can be used as read-alouds for younger children and read-to-self books for children who have just learned to read.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
